PregMate is a synthetic prostaglandin analogue for use in bovines and equines. It is structurally related to prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α) and is potent luteolytic agent. It causes functional and morphological regression of the Corpus Luteum (luteolysis) in a variety of circumstances.
PregMate has a good safety margin.

3. Herd Management
PregMate can be advocated for management of herd in groups of suitable sizes, for feeding, A.I. and drying off (The chances of maintaining seasonal calving are improved and number of non-pregnant animals can be reduced).
Dosage: 
CATTLE AND BUFFALOES:
2 ml (500 mcg) by intramuscular route.
HORSES:
Single intramuscular Injection of 0.5 - 1 ml for mares weighing up to 400 kg b.wt
1 - 2 ml intramuscular Injection for mares weighing more than 400 kg b.wt.
SHEEP AND GOAT
0.5 ml (125 mcg) by intramuscular route
PIG:
0.7 ml (175 mcg) by intramuscular route (for induction of parturition)
